Once Upon a Stocking
The
holiday of hope has always been Christmas. The newest symbol of
hope is the Christmas
stocking. Handmade in the Appalachian Foothills of
Eastern Kentucky, Once Upon a Stocking offers two
styles designed exclusively for NOCC by owner and designer,
Dawn Quinn. Made from the finest fabrics available, the two
NOCC offerings for 2007 are strikingly different
designs that capture a gorgeous array of different shades of teal.
Truly unique to Once Upon a Stocking is the ability to "Personalize"
the rich, soft, satin teal lining with up to a 100 word message
or dedication. In addition, the stockings are beautifully boxed
and a customized ribbon with the NOCC logo and the recipients name
finish the gifting process. Be sure to check out the packaging
details
when you visit their site www.onceuponastocking.com Dawn is offering
a 10% donation for all stockings purchased from her site. We invite
you to visit this very unique company’s website and do your
Holiday shopping in support of NOCC.

Once Upon a Stocking
Dave
hosts this edition from Once Upon a Stocking, a Rowan County
workshop where designer Dawn Quinn and her crew of skilled elves
... er,
craftspeople ... make a dazzling
variety of Christmas Stockings
each Handmade. Each design is associated
with a health-related or humanitarian cause, from breast cancer
or AIDS research to the Humane Society, and 10% of the retail
price of each item sold is donated to a related
organization.
